Richard J. Perez has been in practice for over 30 years and concentrates on personal injury and criminal defense. He is a former assistant Lake County prosecutor, Willoughby prosecutor and Waite Hill prosecutor.

He is a member of numerous law organizations and has lectured in the area of jury selection and various criminal topics.

Richard is the former chairman of the Lake County Bar

Association criminal law committee and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA), Lake County Bar Association (LCBA), National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), The Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (OACDL), Cuyahoga Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (CCDLA), Lake County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (LCCDLA), Northeastern Ohio Municipal Prosecutor’s Association, Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ), American Association for Justice (AAJ) and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Mr. Perez attended Marietta College and Ohio State University and graduated from Cleveland State University, Cleveland Marshall College of Law, cum laude.
